Male Enhancement Supplement Reviews: How to Judge Them in a Category FDA Warns About
Reviews in this category deserve extra care, because FDA warns that such products can hide drug ingredients that a buyer's experience would not reveal. A satisfied review can describe the effect of an undeclared drug. This site shows no SodaPeak reviews until verified customers write them, and treats a review as an opinion, not a test.

The problem01
Why are reviews in this category unreliable?
Because a buyer cannot tell from an effect what caused it.
FDA's notice on one product found unlisted sildenafil and tadalafil (FDA, X10 hidden ingredients notice). A reviewer who felt something might have felt a drug, not the herbs on the label. FDA's wider page warns about tainted products sold for sexual enhancement (FDA, Tainted Sexual Enhancement). A glowing review of such a product is a warning, not a recommendation.
The rule02
What does the FTC fake-review rule change?
It bans fake reviews, paid positive reviews, undisclosed insider reviews, seller-run independent review sites and review suppression.
It took effect October 21, 2024 (FTC, Reviews Rule Q&A), and lets the FTC seek civil penalties against knowing violators (FTC, Fake Reviews Rule (2024)). It raises the cost of cheating but does not verify a given review.
| Look for | Why |
|---|---|
| Dose and duration | Detail is harder to fake |
| Mixed ratings | All five-star is a flag |
| Disclosure of free product | Changes the weight |
| Any mention of side effects | Real use has some |
This site03

FDA lists personal testimonials among its tip-offs to health fraud (FDA, 6 Tip-offs to Rip-offs). The reviews page explains how real reviews will be matched to orders. See also the is it legit page for the checks to run instead.
SUPPORTS HEALTHY MUSCLE*
A structure/function line: the star leads to the FDA statement. No source linked here tests SodaPeak. Muscle responds to training on 2 or more days a week, protein and sleep, and the sources on this site say so. (FDA, Structure/Function Claims) (CDC, Adult Activity)
Test Boost Proprietary Blend 1200mg
A blend name and one total. The panel prints no amount for any of the eight names, so the real split is unknown. The blend name is not a finding: no study tested this blend. (21 CFR 101.36 (eCFR))
ADVANCED FORMULA
A product description. It names no ingredient, amount, test or standard. (FDA 101: Dietary Supplements)
*Daily Value Not Established
No Daily Value exists for these names, so the panel cannot show a percent of one. It is not a measure of how much to take. (FDA, Q&A on Dietary Supplements)
