SodaPeak Side Effects: What the Sources Report for Each of the Eight Names

Quick answer

No source reports side effects of SodaPeak itself. For its eight names, sources list a racing heartbeat with horny goat weed, a rare liver-injury risk with tongkat ali, bleeding with saw palmetto and blood-thinning drugs, and animal-derived contamination worries with orchic substance. Several names interact with medicines, so ask a pharmacist.

The short answer01

Is SodaPeak safe?

No source can say, because none tests SodaPeak. Safety depends on the exact contents, your medicines and your health, and the label prints no amounts.

FDA does not approve supplements for safety or effectiveness before they are sold. The company is responsible for safety and labeling, and FDA acts after products are on the market (FDA 101: Dietary Supplements). NCCIH adds that natural does not always mean safe and that supplements can interact with medicines (NCCIH, Using Supplements Wisely).

Below are what the sources report for each name, the medicine matrix, and the hidden-drug warning that applies to the whole product category.

Name by name02

What side effects can SodaPeak's ingredients cause?

Each name has a short list of reported effects. They come from case reports, lab data and summaries, not from trials of SodaPeak.

Reported effects by label name, from the sources we read
PlaceNameReported effects and cautions
1Horny goat weedSweating or feeling hot, rapid irregular heartbeat, mood changes; safety evaluations lacking (MSK, Epimedium)
2Tongkat aliUncommon nausea, belly discomfort, diarrhea, headache, rash; possible rare liver injury (NIDDK LiverTox, Tongkat Ali)
3Saw palmettoStomach upset, diarrhea, fatigue, headache, decreased libido; bleeding reports (MSK, Saw Palmetto)
4Nettle rootHives, allergic rhinitis; one low blood sugar case; breast enlargement with nettle tea (MSK, Nettle)
5Wild yamEstrogenic effects; one species linked to kidney injury in animals (MSK, Wild Yam)
6SarsaparillaNo safety data listed; lab signals on CYP3A4 and CYP2D6 medicines (MSK, Smilax glabra)
7Orchic substanceContamination concern; not enough information on safety (RxList, Orchic Extract)
8Boron chelateNo clinically relevant interactions known; the upper limit is 20 mg of boron a day (NIH ODS, Boron)

A reaction to the product could come from any one name, from several together, or from something unlisted. The panel prints no amounts, so it is not possible to say which.

Medicines03

Does SodaPeak interact with medicines?

Possibly, with several kinds. Pick a medicine type to see which label names a source flags, and what the source says.

Names on the SodaPeak label that a source flags:

  • Horny goat weed
  • Tongkat ali
  • Saw palmetto
  • Nettle root
  • Wild yam
  • Sarsaparilla
  • Orchic substance
  • Boron amino acid chelate

MSK says saw palmetto may increase bruising and bleeding with warfarin and other blood thinners, may add to antiplatelet drugs such as clopidogrel, and may add to the side effects of NSAIDs. It also lists serious bleeding case reports.

Interaction notes from (NCCIH, Saw Palmetto) (MSK, Saw Palmetto) (MSK, Epimedium) (NIDDK LiverTox, Tongkat Ali) (MSK, Nettle) (MSK, Wild Yam) (MSK, Smilax glabra) (RxList, Orchic Extract). Not a complete list. The label prints no amounts for these names, so nobody can say how strong any effect would be. Ask your pharmacist with the bottle in hand, and never stop or change a prescribed medicine on your own.

Each note names the source. The word "may" matters: most are animal or lab findings, and the clinical relevance is often undetermined. That is still enough reason for a pharmacist to read the bottle against your list. Keep taking prescribed medicine as directed.

The liver04

Can SodaPeak hurt the liver?

It is possible, though the source for the one named risk calls it rare. LiverTox rates tongkat ali a possible rare cause of liver injury, and FDA lists serious liver injury among harms from bodybuilding products with hidden drugs.

Know the signs: yellow skin or eyes, dark or brown urine, belly pain, nausea and unusual weakness or fatigue (FDA, Bodybuilding Products). If you notice any after starting a supplement, stop it and get care today, and tell the clinician exactly what you took.

Report it

Report a problem through FDA MedWatch with the lot code from your bottle (FDA, MedWatch). Firms must report serious adverse events to FDA within 15 days, so your report matters (FDA 101: Dietary Supplements).

A product-class risk05

Could SodaPeak contain hidden drugs?

We have no evidence that it does, and FDA names no SodaPeak product in the pages we read. But the category it is sold in is the one where FDA keeps finding hidden drugs, and a product missing from FDA's lists is not thereby safe.

FDA says products promoted for sexual enhancement are "likely to be contaminated with dangerous hidden ingredients" (FDA, Tainted Sexual Enhancement). In one May 2026 notice its lab found sildenafil and tadalafil, not listed on the label, in a product sold as all natural; those drugs can interact with nitrates and drop blood pressure to dangerous levels (FDA, X10 hidden ingredients notice). That notice names another product and says nothing about SodaPeak.

SodaPeak does not claim sexual enhancement, and this site makes no such claim. Still, the cautions are simple, and the hidden drugs page gives the full picture.

When to stop06

When should I stop taking SodaPeak?

Stop at the first of these: yellow skin or eyes, dark urine, belly pain, chest pain, a racing or irregular heartbeat, fainting, hives or swelling, or any reaction that worries you.

  1. Liver warning signsYellow skin or eyes, dark or brown urine, belly pain, nausea, unusual weakness or fatigue. FDA lists these among symptoms to seek care for after risky bodybuilding products.
  2. Heart and chestChest pain, shortness of breath, a racing or irregular heartbeat, or fainting. Call 911 for chest pain with trouble breathing.
  3. Allergic reactionHives, swelling of the face or throat, or trouble breathing after a capsule: call 911.
  4. After any supplementStop it, keep the bottle, tell your clinician exactly what you took, and report the problem to FDA MedWatch.

Signs from (FDA, Bodybuilding Products) (FDA, MedWatch). This list is not complete, and a supplement is never a reason to wait.

Bring the bottle to your clinician. The when to see a doctor page lists symptoms that need a test rather than a capsule.
