Supplement Expiration Dates: What to Check on the Base of a SodaPeak Bottle
The seller's brief says the lot code and best-before date are printed on the base of a SodaPeak bottle when the bottle shows them. Read both when it arrives, photograph them and follow any storage line printed on the label. Do not use a bottle that is past its date, has a damaged seal or looks or smells different. Ask the order desk if the base shows nothing.

Where to look01
Where is the best-before date on a SodaPeak bottle?
On the base, together with the lot code, when the bottle shows them. The seller's brief says so, and a photo of the base is the safest record.
We do not hold a photo of the base, so we cannot say how it is printed. If you cannot find a date, photograph the whole bottle and write to the order desk at [email protected] with your order ID. Ask what the date is and how it is shown. A bottle with no readable lot code is harder to trace, which matters if you ever need a refund or want to report a problem.
On arrival02
What should I check when the bottle arrives?
The seal, the base, the capsules and the label, before the first capsule.
| Check | If it is wrong |
|---|---|
| Safety seal intact | Do not use; photograph; call the order desk |
| Lot code and date readable | Photograph; ask the desk how to read it |
| Date not yet passed | Do not use a bottle past its date |
| Capsules look uniform | Do not use if cracked, damp or discolored |
| Label matches the photos | Stop; photograph; call |
Storage03
How should I store the capsules?
As the label says. If it prints no line, keep the bottle closed, cool, dry and out of reach of children.
Moisture and heat are the common enemies of capsules, so a bathroom shelf or a car glove box is a poor choice. Keep the lid tight after each use. The label we hold does not print a storage line, so these are general habits, not findings.
Keep it closed
Tighten the lid after every use.
Keep it dry and cool
Away from the bathroom, the stove and direct sun.
Keep it away from children
And keep the original bottle, so the label stays with the capsules.

Why do dates and lot codes matter?
Because they tie a bottle to a batch, and a batch is what a seller or a regulator can trace.
FDA's advice for any supplement is to stop using it after a bad reaction, get medical care and report it, and firms must report serious adverse events within 15 days (FDA 101: Dietary Supplements). A lot code lets a report, a refund or a trace point to the right batch. Without it, everyone is guessing.
- 01
Check the bottle and the seal
Read the Supplement Facts panel on your bottle against this site's label page, and check that any safety seal is intact before you start.
- 02
Count the capsules
The panel's serving is 2 capsules, and the seller brief allows 1 or 2 capsules a day. Confirm which applies on your bottle. A bottle holds 60 capsules.
- 03
Swallow with 8 oz of water
The brief says to take the capsules with an 8 oz glass of water. It prints no time of day and no food rule, so choose a time you can repeat.
- 04
Keep your checks and your medicine
Keep every prescribed medicine. Stop and get care if you notice yellow skin or eyes, dark urine, belly pain, chest pain or a racing heartbeat.
Ordering05
What if I bought several bottles?
Photograph every base the day the parcel arrives, and use the oldest first.
The order buttons lead to checkout. Check your medicines with a clinician first.
FDA generally does not test supplements before they reach consumers (FDA, Q&A on Dietary Supplements).
