SodaPeak Video: What to Check in a Supplement Testimonial or Ad
We do not host or vouch for any SodaPeak video. A video is a persuasive format, not evidence: the speaker, the script and the edit are all controlled by whoever made it. Check who paid for it, whether claims match the label and sources, and whether the person disclosed a link to the seller. Faces and voices can be faked.

Our position01
Is there an official SodaPeak video?
This site hosts none and cannot vouch for any clip. A video about a supplement is persuasion, not proof.
That holds for good videos as well as bad ones. A clip shows what its maker chose to show, in the order and with the sound they chose. It can be sincere and still say nothing about what a capsule does for you.
What to check02
What should I check in a testimonial video?
Who made it, who paid, what is claimed and whether the claims match the label and the sources.
| Check | Warning sign |
|---|---|
| Who made it | Anonymous, or a channel full of ads |
| Who paid | No disclosure of payment or free product |
| The claims | Results, timelines or disease claims |
| The label | Names or amounts that differ from the panel |
| The ending | A countdown or a code to buy now |
The rules03
What do the FTC rules say about testimonials?
Endorsers cannot describe experiences with a product they have not tried, and paid or gifted relationships must be disclosed.
The FTC says an endorsement must reflect the honest opinion of the endorser, and that fake likes and fabricated engagement are deceptive (FTC, Endorsement Guides Q&A). The review rule bans fake testimonials, including AI-generated ones (FTC, Fake Reviews Rule (2024)), which includes synthetic faces and voices presented as real customers.
SUPPORTS HEALTHY MUSCLE*
A structure/function line: the star leads to the FDA statement. No source linked here tests SodaPeak. Muscle responds to training on 2 or more days a week, protein and sleep, and the sources on this site say so. (FDA, Structure/Function Claims) (CDC, Adult Activity)
Test Boost Proprietary Blend 1200mg
A blend name and one total. The panel prints no amount for any of the eight names, so the real split is unknown. The blend name is not a finding: no study tested this blend. (21 CFR 101.36 (eCFR))
ADVANCED FORMULA
A product description. It names no ingredient, amount, test or standard. (FDA 101: Dietary Supplements)
*Daily Value Not Established
No Daily Value exists for these names, so the panel cannot show a percent of one. It is not a measure of how much to take. (FDA, Q&A on Dietary Supplements)

How can I tell if a video is faked?
You often cannot by eye. Treat any striking claim as unverified until a second, independent source supports it.
Look for mismatches
Lips out of sync, odd blinking or a flat voice.
Search for the person
Do they exist outside this clip?
Check the claim
Compare it with FDA, NIH and CDC pages, not with the clip.
Check the sales page
FDA notes that testimonials are easy to fabricate (FDA, 6 Tip-offs to Rip-offs).
Ordering05
What should I rely on instead of a video?
The label, the sources, a lab report if one appears and a clinician.
The order buttons lead to checkout, where the terms are printed. Check your medicines with a clinician first.
